This website is owned by Pluripharm Groep BV (hereinafter Pluripharm). We respect the privacy of visitors to Pluripharm’s website(s). In order to support our customers as best as possible, we process their personal data in a manner that is in accordance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation. We ensure that personal data is processed very confidentially.

Pluripharm has several operating companies that process personal data. All parts of Pluripharm are bound by the privacy policy of Pluripharm. The parts to which this privacy statement applies are:

In this privacy statement we describe who we are, how and for what purposes we process your personal data, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

We would also like to inform you that our services are developing and with it our Privacy Statement(s). We therefore recommend that you regularly check whether there are any changes.

 

Who are we?

Pluripharm is located at Phoenixstraat 21, 1812 PP in Alkmaar. The aforementioned parts of Pluripharm are ‘Controller’, with the exception of Pluriplus BV and parts of Pluripharm-Direct BV. They are the “processor” and provide services to pharmacies where the pharmacist is the “data controller”. Pluripack BV has a joint responsibility with the purchasing pharmacy.

 

Which of your personal data does Pluripharm process?

We generally process personal data of four categories of persons: (i) Private customers, (ii) business customers and (iii) our employees, temporary workers and secondments and cooperation partners.

Different categories of personal data can be registered for these persons:

  • Personal details (such as name, address, place of residence, e-mail address, telephone number)
  • Account information (such as username and password)
  • Purchase data (such as the date you purchased a particular product)
  • Marketing preferences (such as subscribed or unsubscribed to newsletters)
  • Correspondence data (such as contact with customer service or digital and/or written correspondence)

We receive the personal data described above both directly from you and via third parties insofar as this is in accordance with the law. We assume that you will be informed about this by these third parties.

Personal data that you provide directly to us are:

  • personal data that you provide by entering into an agreement with us.
  • personal data that you provide when you create an account and/or other information that you enter and provide via our website(s)
  • personal data that you provide as a result of surfing behavior on our website(s)
  • personal data that you provide in the context of correspondence, feedback, assistance and/or dispute resolution, etc.

 

Personal data we receive from third parties

We may receive additional personal data, such as through services from third parties, insofar as this is in accordance with the law, for example because you have given permission for this.

For what purposes does Pluripharm process your personal data?

Pluripharm collects and processes personal data for the agreement(s) concluded with you, administration, communication, (personalized or not) marketing and to comply with legal obligations.

Pluripharm uses anonymous data as much as possible for the implementation of quality and management purposes.

The lawfulness of the processing on which Pluripharm relies

Based on Article 6 of the GDPR, Pluripharm processes data on the basis of:

  1. Your consent (Art. 6a)
    In some cases we process your personal data with your permission, for example to send a newsletter. You can of course always withdraw your consent. Under the heading ‘Can you withdraw your consent later?’ read how to do this.

  2. The execution of an agreement (Art. 6b)
    We use your personal data to perform the agreement you have with us.

  3. Legitimate interest (Art. 6f)
    We also use your personal data for Pluripharm’s legitimate interests. eg analysis of the use of websites.

To whom does Pluripharm provide your personal data?

Pluripharm may provide your personal data to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Statement and the law. Pluripharm will not disclose your personal data to third parties without your express consent.

Your personal data may be received by the categories below:

  1. Companies in the Pluripharm group
    We may share personal data with companies in our group in order to jointly provide content and products and/or services (such as registration and customer support), to assist in the development of products, websites, applications, services, tools and communications and to prevent potentially illegal prevent, detect and investigate activities, violations of our policies, fraud and/or data security breaches.

  2. authorities
    For example, regulators, tax authorities, police and other legal authorities. We may share your personal data:
    • to comply with legal obligations or a court order or
    • if this is necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal offenses (such as fraud, deception or prosecution) or
    • if it is necessary to enforce our policies or to protect the rights and freedoms of others.

  3. Business service providers (data processors)
    For example, a mail delivery company engaged by Pluripharm to deliver the product you have purchased.

  4. Other
    Any third party for whom we have received your permission to share your personal data (for example in the context of a collaboration), and/or of which Pluripharm is now or in the future part as a result of a reorganisation, merger or acquisition.

Use of data processors

Data processors are third parties that perform parts of our services, such as sending medication to pharmacies. We have concluded processor agreements with data processors. This means that they are not allowed to do anything with personal data unless we have instructed them to do so. Pluripharm may use selected sub-processors to perform their tasks. They will not provide personal data to other organizations. They are responsible for the storage and security of the personal data and keep it for the period that we instruct them to do.

Are your personal data processed outside the EU?

New. Your personal data will only be processed within the borders of the European Union. All European countries must comply with the same legal rules, which aim to ensure a consistent level of protection at European level when processing personal data.

How long is your personal data stored?

In general, financial data is kept for 7 years and prescriptions and related data for 15 years. Data from applicants will be deleted within four (4) weeks after the application, if they are not hired and if permission has not been granted for a longer retention period. Data of former employees or “contractors” will be deleted 5 years after termination of the contract, with the exception of tax-relevant data.

Security

Pluripharm has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss or against any form of unlawful processing. The security level has been adjusted with due observance of the prevailing standards. These standards are also used by our data processors. The personal data stored in our systems and those of our processors is handled very carefully and only employees who need access for their position are allowed to view this data. Pluripharm tests the security measures very regularly and adjusts them if there is reason to do so.

Rights of data subjects

Pluripharm is the data controller under the GDPR (with the exception of Pluriplus BV and parts of Pluripharm Direct BV)

You have the right to access, rectify and/or delete the collection of your personal data by Pluripharm (if Pluripharm is the data controller). In addition, you can invoke the following rights at Pluripharm: the right to restriction of your personal data processing, the right to the portability of your personal data and the right to object. Below you can read where and how you can use these rights.

If you wish to inspect your personal data processing and/or rectify or delete data (to the extent permissible) that you cannot adjust yourself, you can contact us in the manner described below.

Please note that Pluripharm may request additional information to verify your identity.

Can you withdraw your consent later?

Insofar as the processing of personal data is based on your express consent, we point out that you can revoke this at any time. (such as for the receipt of newsletters)

Purpose of the processing

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheater Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow you to analyze your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will be truncated by Google in member states of the European Union or in other contracting states until the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Our legitimate interest is the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes. To protect your interest in data protection, this website uses Google Analytics with the extension “anonymizeIP (),” so that the IP addresses are only processed in an abbreviated way to exclude a direct personal relationship.

Data collected by Google is transferred out of the European Union. Pluripharm and Google utilizes the European Commission´s Standard Contractual Clauses as a legal basis for such international data transfers in order to protect your rights and freedoms.

Pluripharm takes your complaints and advice very seriously and records every complaint in writing. Can’t agree with your contact person? Then you can use our complaints procedure. You also have the right to submit a complaint to our Data Protection Officer (DPO), which can be reached via avg@Pluripharm.nl.   If you are unable to resolve the matter with Pluripharm, you can then submit your complaint to the Dutch Data Protection Authority via the website www. authority data.nl
